Dr Wolfgang Schlez, ProPlanEn’s founder, brings decades of wind-energy experience and will be designing and delivering the technical content. WakeBlaster is ProPlanEn’s fast 3D RANS wake model and cloud service, developed for wind-farm-scale analysis and documented in peer-reviewed work.

About the founder: A grounded approach to wind energy
Orangewind (OWnD) was founded in Berlin by Ahmet Okan Sargin, a specialist with more than 18 years of experience in the wind energy sector. He has contributed to the evaluation of over 300 GW of onshore and offshore projects worldwide, providing precise, standards-aligned technical assessments that support development and financing decisions.
